About Me

Learn more about my journey from Linux systems administration to modern full-stack development, my technical mindset, and my passion for building reliable, intuitive web experiences.
I'm a Linux systems administrator transitioning into full-stack web development, with hands-on experience using Linux and UNIX systems since 2006. My background in production environments, infrastructure, and system reliability strongly influences how I design and build software. I currently focus on developing modern web applications using Vue, Nuxt, and Node.js, while continuing to rely on Linux, automation, and scripting with Python and Bash. This combination allows me to build applications with a clear understanding of how they run, are deployed, and are maintained in real-world environments.

My Technical Philosophy

I believe good software starts with a solid foundation: clean structure, predictable behavior, and an understanding of the environment it runs in. Whether I'm automating tasks or building user interfaces, I aim to write maintainable, readable, and practical code. While I'm still growing as a full-stack developer, I bring discipline, a systems-first mindset, and a strong commitment to continuous learning.

What Drives Me

I'm motivated by learning, problem-solving, and turning complex technical ideas into simple, usable solutions. Moving from systems administration into full-stack development has given me a broader perspective — from the operating system all the way to the user interface.

Beyond the Screen

Outside of building and learning, I enjoy exploring new tools, improving my Linux workflow, and experimenting with different approaches to problem-solving. I value steady progress, thoughtful design, and understanding how things truly work. Thanks for stopping by. Feel free to explore my work or get in touch if you'd like to collaborate.
